Gannett publisher pushed through an endorsement by the Des Moines, Iowa, Register that followed the decree for all other papers: to support Mitt Romney despite his being the least qualified candidate ever for the US presidency. Lies, subtefuge and distortions were thinly veiled in the endorsement as exposed here.
