The Book of Mormon, like the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints (LDS), has declared that Blacks carry the mark of Cain and Ham/Canaan and cannot enter heaven. While this stand officially changed in 1978, it is still is the foundation for the Mormon faith and family.
