There is good, wonderful, news from Texas in the war against COVID.¹ Gov. Greg Abbott tested positive Tuesday for COVID-19, according to his office. Abbott, who is fully vaccinated,² is not experiencing any symptoms and isolating at the Governor’s Mansion,³ spokesperson Mark Miner said in a statement. Unfortunately, Abbott is getting the Regeneron’s monoclonal antibody treatment that the middle class and poor have no access to receiving: a stark reminder of white privilege.
