Amy Coney Barrett, Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh Must Be Impeached and Removed from SCOTUS

Overturning 50 years of precedence,1 the draconic five formally denied a request from Texas abortion providers to freeze a state  law that bans abortions after six weeks. Chief Justice John Roberts joined the three liberal justices in dissent.2 The five (Barrett, Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch,3 and Kavanaugh) are Catholics of the extreme Pius X branch of the  Roman Catholic Church4

Justice Sonia Sotomeyor

Although a Roman Catholic, unlike her colleagues who voted against the rights of women, Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote in her dissent: “…a majority of Justices have opted to bury their heads in the sand… The [Texas] Act is a breathtaking act of defiance of the Constitution, of this Court’s precedents, and of the rights of women seeking abortions throughout Texas.” In her denunciation of the Five Justices who could not accept the decision of  women to decide the destiny of their own bodies, she was joined by Elena Kegan (a Jew), and Stephen Breyer (the other Jew), and Chief Justice Roberts (a Catholic) who wrote separate dissenting opinions. Justice Elena Kagan wrote, noting that democracy was hanging by a thread:

Without full briefing or argument, and after less than 72 hours’ thought, this Court greenlights the operation of Texas’s patently unconstitutional law banning most abortions. The Court thus rewards Texas’s scheme to insulate its law from judicial review by deputizing private parties to carry out unconstitutional restrictions on the State’s behalf. As of last night, and because of this Court’s ruling, Texas law prohibits abortions for the vast majority of women who seek them—in clear, and indeed undisputed, conflict with Roe and Casey. Today’s ruling illustrates just how far the Court’s “shadow-docket” decisions may depart from the usual principles of appellate process. That ruling, as everyone must agree, is of great consequence. Yet the majority has acted without any guidance from the Court of Appeals—which is right now considering the same issues. It has reviewed only the most cursory party submissions, and then only hastily. And it barely bothers to explain its conclusion—that a challenge to an obviously unconstitutional abortion regulation backed by a wholly unprecedented enforcement scheme is unlikely to prevail. In all these ways, the majority’s decision is emblematic of too much of this Court’s shadowdocket decisionmaking—which every day becomes more unreasoned, inconsistent, and impossible to defend. I respectfully dissent.

The Five Justices who believed that Texas women do not have enough knowledge to make their own decision over their own bodies, said there was confusion in the petition and were unsure that the challengers even had “standing”. The Five Justices said they would not block the Texas law as “there would be no harm” to women–even the females who were raped by strangers and men in their own family. The Republicanazis in the legislature gave up their role as law makers and allow anyone to be a “deputized” member of the police to weed out and arrest any woman seeking an abortion, doctor performing even a life-saving abortion, and clinics that allowed women to use their facilities for an abortion, as well ass anyone who would assist a woman getting an abortion, including taxi and Uber drivers who would take them to get an abortion.5 This led the Justice Department to weigh all options on the Texas abortion ban.6  This is exactly the mindset  of the Taliban,7 al-Qaida,8 and ISIS,9 with white christian evangelicals identical to their theology and interpretation of their “holy” books (all written by mortal men): the Torah, Bible (based on the Torah), and Qur’an (based on both the Torah and Bible/New Testament).10 All bibles and Torah and Qur’an denigrates women and makes them subservient to men–and is so defined by “reformers” such as Martin Luther, Jean Calvin, Jean Wycliffe, using “scripture” to subordinate women to man:

  1. Ephesians 5:22-24 …wives should submit to their husbands etc.
  2. 1 Timothy 2:11-15 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent etc.
  3. 1 Corinthians 14:33-35 …women should remain silent in the churches (and following).
  4. 1 Corinthians 11:3-16 Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man (and following).
  5. Colossians 3:18 Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
  6. Peter 3:1-6 Wives in the same way be submissive to your husbands (and following).
  7. Titus 2: 4-5 Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands so that no one will malign the word of God.

and the many “interpreters: of the Qur’an.11 The problem of the “six-week ban” is filled with holes that the Five Justices did not want to hear, as most females do not know they are pregnant in the first six weeks. John Roberts gave up his leadership role.12 In a rebuke of  her associate justices, Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote: “The Court should not  be so content to ignore its constitutional  obligations to protect not only the rights of women, but also the sanctity of its precedents of the rule of law.13 Texas is no longer a land of freedom and equality. Texas is screwed

Neal Katyal (former Acting U.S. Solicitor General) saw the new Texas law, the most restrictive law in the United States,14 not even allowing doctors to perform or induce an abortion if a heartbeat can be detected, even if it would cost the fetus carrier her life.15 Next will come similar legislation  in Arkansas,16 Mississippi17 (the law bans all abortions after 15 weeks)], Alabama,18 and other Republicanazi controlled states.] Florida19 Georgia: Republicanazis want abortion illegalized.20 Iowa Republicanazis want a constitutional amendment prohibiting abortions.21 Missouri,22 Arkansas passed a near-total abortion ban.23 Tennessee  has tried but lost in the appeals court24 where the radical religious right demand “adoption not abortion” but when the protesters against abortion were asked if they would adopt, none said yes. See also where Republicanazis passed a “fetal heartbeat” bill and put a ban on abortions, juveniles, and for Down syndrome, even though they said none of them would adopt a Down syndrome baby or legislate extra funding for the parents–very christian of them! Texas is now the most lawless state in the union: continuing America’s long hateful and hate-filled history of vigilante “justice.”25 Former Senator  Barbara Boxer blasted the draconian Texas law since the new Texas abortion law has no exceptions for incest or rape, and deputizes private citizens as bounty hunters searching for anyone who performed or helped a woman get an abortion after a six-week period, before most women even know they’re pregnant.26 Republicans want Big Government identical to Big Brother in 198427 that mirrors the speeches of Donald Trump: “What you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening.” a direct quote from Trump.28

The Pius X splinter group was led by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre grew deeply displeased. Lefebvre had always flirted with the far right (he supported Marshal Pétain’s Nazi-collaborating Vichy regime during WWII) and so it was no surprise when he emerged at the helm of Council challengers. Lefebvre opened his own anti-Modernist seminary (bishops called it the “wildcat seminary”) in Écône, Switzerland. See papal letter of Pius X: https://www.vatican.va/content/pius-x/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-x_enc_11061905_il-fermo-proposito.html. By 1976, after some tousling with the papacy, Lefebvre was officially stripped of his holy orders. By 1988, things turned really sour. Against the Pope’s orders, Lefebvre consecrated four bishops — leading the Vatican to excommunicate all five. SSPX continued to minister, but without official canonical status.

  • Sami Swan Thompson  says:

    Excellent article, Art!

Mexico has just passed reasonable abortion laws, making the U.S. a shining example of ignorance. Any Texan with an IQ higher than that of a pinto bean should be deeply ashamed of the actions of our Governor, Lt. Governor, and everyone involved in passing this ridiculous legislation. It will be struck down because it is totally unconstitutional – even if some members of the Supreme Court are too blinded by their religion to admit it.

    • Arthur Frederick Ide  says:

Abbott is not only the stupidest governor in Texas, but has not even a clue about rape. Rape is seldom planned, and no one can look at a person and know he or she is a rapist. When I taught in Hawaii (back in the late 1960s), my mother flew over and I met her in Oahu (in Honolulu). I wasn’t able to get us a plane over to Paia (on my island of Maui), so we stayed in a hotel. I heard my mother gasp as she was looking out of the second story window, so I rushed over to see the problem. Two females were struggling to rip off the pants of a young male who was fighting them. They got him on the ground and raped him. I won’t go into details–but it was rape. Myself having been raped by my father’s brothers, I know first hand that it is neither consensual nor pleasant…and no one can tell a rapist by looking at him or her (my uncles were all Lutheran ministers, married with children, etc.). Abbott is an ass.
