Dennis Guth Iowa State Senator

On April 17, 2013, at the beginning of the Iowa Senate workday, the most junior Senator from Klemme, Dennis Guth, a man of the soil but without serious learning and no solid education beyond an initial degree in agriculture. He has no training in medical, psychological or psychiatric sciences, or in any of the social sciences.  Guth is void of any attachment to the rubrics of education outside of elementary agriculture that now is decades old.

A freshman Senator, he has taken the stage to preach his private agenda, calling for the advantage of “points of personal privilege” to make horrific comments about the LGBT community.”1” that he has no personal knowledge or nor any experience with...

Freedom of Religion: Fact and Fantasy

1692 Massachusetts Christian Puritans saw the Devil everywhere

1692 Massachusetts Christian Puritans saw the Devil everywhere

Freedom of religion is a centuries-old expression. In most cases freedom of religion does not exist. It is not accepted by SCOTUS or most courts or jurists. It is not enshrined in the nation, nor in separate states. At best it is a buzzword, but in reality freedom of religion is a fantasy that has enchained the USA since its inception as American colonies.

From Maine to Georgia, the North American colonies were not founded as bastions of theological freedom or the right to disbelieve that which came from the pulpits of the churches that existed in Europe...

Freedom of Speech, Responsibility and Bloodshed

Freedom of speech comes with responsibility of what is said and whether or not it is true. Because of a biased movie (Innocence of Muslims), the world of Islam broke into flames, fanned by a Florida preacher and a former movie producer--neither gifted with languages nor knowledge of texts. Religion has always been the catalyst for wars, and religious leaders the butchers from the beginning of time to this day.Read More

UNO Secular Student Alliance and Scott Voorhees attack on women and love of “fellow racists and extremists”

University of Nebraska-Omaha's Secular Student Alliance attempted to present its reasons for existing on the state campus, but Scott Voorhees turned the conversation into a sexist rant--a barking that UNO President James B. Milliken ignored--denying UNO students of equal treatment at the state university. Milliken's lack of action is a direct attack on the rights of UNO students for support and defense.Read More

Matthew 6:6, Christianity and the Mormon Faith

Evangelical fundamentalists flood into mega-churches and preach a gospel of wealth for a select few. This is not what the Jesus of the New Testament taught nor the form of prayer required. It is even more estranged in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.,Read More

CAAP, William Owens, Alveda King and distorting the message of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Bible

Contemporary Christianity is more hate-filled than ancient or medieval Christianity, with clergy playing the roll of god and damning those who do not agree with their judgment based on bad translations of bibles that never existed in the early years when Christianity began when the Emperor Constantine created his national church. This has led to Black pastors damning entire groups of people, and congregations organizing lynching mobs and beating to death those they do not agree with.Read More

Rick Santorum, Opus Dei, Roman Catholicism and USA democracy and freedom

The Pittsburgh, PA, Post-Gazette wrote on October 22, 2006, that "Santorum exemplifies the worse in Washington." Santorum has not changed, but drags in money as if it is his right, and with his wife Karen, shows increasing mental illness (from the time he took home a dead 20-week fetus for his children to play with) to attacks on basic civil rights while leaguing with hate-mongers Bob Vander Plaats of Iowa and Bradlee Dean (Smith) of Minnesota who openly seek the execution of LGBT people, while denouncing food stamps for the poor and black who are "too fat".Read More

Suicide is frequently Premeditated Murder

Over one million suicides occur each year. While many are the exit strategy of those suffering an incurable and painful disease, there is a growing number of suicides among preteens and teenagers--especially in the USA and in the Sixth Congress District of Minnesota that is represented by Michele Bachmann. No state is exempt, but a new thread is appearing: bullying those weaker than their opponents, and in the name of religion or "freedom" to express an opinion even if it compells children to end their lives. The greatest damage comes from evangelical Christians and the notion of a "holy life" style--or face the threat of going to hell. Why do people believe in this concept and when does one reach the breaking point and stop contemplating suicide and take action?Read More

Apocalypse: 150,000 years of myths of End Times

As the economic well-being of any people plunges, starvation and unemployment skyrockets, many will seek out demigods and dictators or turn to religion for temporary euphora. Some will argue that bad times are the sign of End Times and an Apocalypse is near. Is the Apocalypse fact or fiction? Here is the judgment of history, texts, and scholars.Read More

Christian terrorism: how evangelical fundamentalism destroys people and civilizations

Every time there is a terrorist action broadcast or printed, western people think it is done by Muslims. Statistics show that most terrorist attacks are done by non-Muslim people, with most taking place in the USA and India. How does the US military compare with the Christian paramilitary groups in North Ireland, India, Uganda, Nigeria and around the world?Read More
