Introduction

Patriotism has its place—as an expression of loyalty. It is not a hood to cover reality as if it were some medieval monk scurrying about to find heretics and apostates. Patriotism, especially to a partisan party or religion, is both plutocratic as well as destructive of the educational process. While I have written at length about bad education in the USA (where 7000 high school students drop out of education every day)1 and in other nations, when I noted...

Age of Trump and the new age the psychology of denial

Many deny the reality of COVID-19 and many die from COVID-19. There is a solution. It is that face masks and social distancing must become compulsory and with consequences. Behavior change, including compulsory behavior change, can be followed by insights and understanding.Read More

Biblical Plagiarism

The sage, savant, and scholar Paul Pearson, my friend, has a new blog (https://pearsonally.com) that I recently commented on in brief concerning Ben Carson 1. Carson, currently Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and neurosurgeon and devout Seventh Day Adventist is a biblical literalist who has no knowledge of ancient pre-Biblical or biblical languages, yet pontificates on a wide range of Bible myths concerning ancient Egypt (soundly pointed out by Pearson). Carson does not offer a shred of historical evidence to support his wild claims from “Joseph built the pyramids” and the pyramids were “built in order to store grain” since “many chambers [were] are hermetically sealed”...

Protected: Inventing the New Testament Bible (Part 1) Origin and Characteristics of the New Testament

Early Fathers of the Church: staid, ossified, little education

The word Bible originated from the Greek “book” (singular βιβλίο “biblio”, plural βιβλία “biblia”). It was considered sacred1 or the foundation for god(s)’ word(s).2

Many individuals saw the Bible as sacred because it was written. Those who could read the writing were most often considered priests: a person whose office it is to perform religious rites, and especially to make sacrificial offerings. It is from the Greek πρεσβύτερος, transliterated as presbyteros; in English presbyter is similar to “elder,” “leader” and “senior/premier”. In the ancient Hebrew within the Old Testament: kohen (כהן), a word which is most likely Old Anatolian (Turkish) in origin. The word or priest in Greek is Hiereus: ιερεύς (of south African origin). The Latin in sacer...

Zombies and religion

Zombies (the "undead") have for thousands of years been considered to be a part of most communities, and seen both as villians and as special messengers: as with the account in the Gospels where Zombies rose out of their graves to herald the death of the New Testament Jesus. This same myth exists in every religion and region of the world, and is used to control people and their actions. Those with little or minimal education accept this horror story, and those who deny it are often persecuted as seen especially in Third World nations. Read More

Education in Peru is failing and what can be done to restore it (expanded and revised edition)

Education in Perú exists only marginally. Various accrediting bodies rank Peru as the worse nation on the planet to obtain an education: that students have little interest or sense of responsibility, that the government denies funds for adequate buildings, teaching resources and payment for good teachers, and that neither teachers nor students have a sense of responsibility or urgency in acquiring a solid education. This is the result of the stranglehold of organized religion in Peru.Read More

Martha Chávez: Attack on Perú Democracy

The nation of Peru is impoverished and uneducated because of a corrupt government, church control of the state, poorly or untrained teachers, a venal military and police force that is an active part of drug trafficking, and most of all because of a odiously opportunistic Congress and the Fujimoristas in it--such as Martha Chavez. Alberto Fujimori went from an underpaid professor of agriculture to a multi-millionaire once he became dictator with the support of Martha Chavez--who denounces the families who mourn their dead executed by government paid assassins--and vows to dismantle a memorial to the children and young the national spy network (SIN) murdered in cold blood. No one is more cold-blooded in Peru than Martha Chavez and the Opus Dei archbishop of Lima: Juan Luis Cipriani who matches the bishop in Dan Brown's book "DaVinci Code".Read More

Paititi and Fujimori corruption, theft and murder in Perú

In the 16th century Spanish thieves invaded the Inka empire, killed its king, and stole tons of gold--but not all of it. More of it was taken by the Fujimoris on military helicopters bought by Dictator Alberto Fujimori, while Keiko Fujimori stood watch over the plunder, murder, and destruction of one of Perú's oldest sites and key to its past glory. This was covered up by a corrupt Congress in Lima, and mass executions: from La Cantuta massacres to the slaughter of families and children in Barrios Altos--yet many of these people will vote for the daughter of the president who destroyed their lives, families, and future, especially in the mountains surrounding Perú. This account is based on a limited printing of a book by Father Juan Carlos Polentini Wester.Read More

USA Becoming more Ignorant and Hatefilled

Ignorance and arrogance push hatred to new levels in the USA, surpassing any of the crimes against humanity festered on the skin of the USA by Joe McCarthy and Richard M. Nixon--by two people far worse: Michelle Bachman (MN) and Steven King (IA) who would excuse murder in Iraq as equal to "hazing" while condoning hate crimes as "crimes of the mind." This is written to expose two of the most dangerous criminals in the USA Congress whose sole love is not for the history of the USA nor for its people, but for their grab for power and adulation.Read More
