Moms for Liberty in Florida are really stupid and hate filled

Parents, students fight against Florida’s hate legislation

Rick DeSantis, Florida Governor

Governor Rick DeathSantis, the fuehrer or the gaggle of Republicanazis in the Florida legislature, signed into law one of the most hateful bills…matching those that slithered out of The Third Reich and blessed by Adolf Hitler. The Florida sludge has become known as the “Don’t Say Gay” law targeting transsexuals/transgenders as well as all LGBTQIA people and their parents and families.

While the Don’t Say Gay bill’s proponents have implied that talking about LGBTQ people is what the law means when it says sexual orientation and gender identity, nothing in the law’s text actually limits it to just discussions of LGBTQ people. So, some teachers are allegedly taking it to its logical conclusion.

“To be in accordance with this policy, I will no longer be referring to your student with gendered pronouns,” the letter template states. “All students will be referred to as ‘they’ or ‘them.’ I will no longer use a gendered title such as ‘Mr.’ or ‘Mrs.’ or make any references to husband/wife in the classroom. From now on I will be using the non-gendered title ‘Mx.’”

“Furthermore, I will be removing all books or instruction which refer to a person being a ‘mother,’ ‘father,’ ‘husband’ or ‘wife’ as these are gender identities that also may allude to sexual orientation. Needless to say, all books that refer to a character as ‘he’ or ‘she’ will also be removed form the classroom.”

Parents and friends defend trans men and women.

“If you have any concerns about this policy, please feel free to contact your local congressperson.”1

Fortunately, there are some politicians, police, and medical people who willingly stand against the mind and speech control that Big Borther DeathSantis labors to   force on his state and its worsening education record. The Meidas Touch is even putting up billboard ridiculing the law. Not only in Florida, but in New York and other states where students and parents and educators will not be silenced.

Unfortunately, there are other  Republicanazi controlled faux-states and their governors (like Iowa and its miscreant  leader Governor COVID-Kim Reynolds,2  Texas and its Governor Greg Abbott,3 who worked to have parents be investigated for child abuse if they sought gender-affirming care for a trans-child,4 and Georgia and its Trumpian leader Brian Kemp5 who worked feverishly to overthrow the Constitution is 2021-2022 to install the one who believes himself to ne the Chosen One of white christian evangelicals) aiming to control everyone in their ghoul to buttress their quest for dominance lusting for a “1984” world written by George Orwell.6

New York City billboards appearing in Florida

New York had the best response to the hate of Florida Republicanazis:

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) is launching a billboard campaign across the Sunshine State to tell LGBTQ Floridians know that New Yorkers have their backs.

“This is the city of Stonewall, this is the city where we are proud to talk about how you can live in a comfortable setting and not be harassed, not be abused, not only as adults but also as young people,” Adams said in a speech announcing the campaign. “We want to remind everyone that New York City is full of people who will be celebrated now and in the future,” Adams said. You will never find that courage in KKK controlled Iowa or other hate-filled states that destroys the South or the Midwest (with the exception of Chicago, Illinois, and Iowa City, Iowa). In the corn belt and wheat belt of midwestern states, there is so much raw hate that it could set off a firestorm of abuse of LGBTQIA people with many in their Republicanazi Party calling for the execution of LGBTQIA as a threat to themselves and their religions of hate that follow

Franklin Graham

the teachings of the 21st messiah Franklin Graham, the self-appointed modern day Jesus.7

Graham’s sermon was taken from a 1971 crusade event in Chicago.

“And don’t you Black people ever forget one thing,” Graham said in his sermon. Lecrae can be seen raising his eye to indicate he was listening and not sure where this was going. “Jesus belongs to Africa as much as he does to Europe and Asia,” Graham preached and Lecrae again nodded in agreement. “He was born in that part of the world that touches Africa and Asia and Europe,” Graham continued.8 Not surprising, Graham is openly calling for a “regime change”–an expression that usually refers to removing the government of a country and replacing it with another through military force: “the replacement of one administration or government by another, especially by means of military force.”9 Graham joined the chorus of conservatives calling for a boycott of Disney because the company spoke out against Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law, which bans the mention of LGBTQ people in elementary school and limits it in other grades. “Disney is indoctrinating children with the LGBTQ agenda — and they don’t even try to hide it,” he wrote, linking an article about “10 families who are swearing off Disney due to its left-leaning politics.” Graham called HHS’s statement that “Research demonstrates that gender-affirming care improves the mental health and overall well-being of gender diverse children and adolescents,” a “lie from hell.” Graham went on: “All of their manipulated research saying that it improves mental health or increases happiness is just a lie from hell. What it really does is destroy the lives and futures of these children.”10

The billboards will be displayed for eight weeks in Orlando, Tampa, West Palm Peach, Jacksonville, and Fort Lauderdale. Adams said they are about “celebrating the diversity and acceptance of New York City.”11

Art, Thanks for your take on this, which is good, but since it’s overgeneralized, I want to add a few takes on this non-problem, a.k.a. a solution looking for a problem.

The text of the bill can be found here: https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2022/1557/BillText/er/PDF

    1) There was not problem this bill addresses. A look through both legislative discussions for the previous 5 years and 17 separate media sources going about 6 years back reveal no minor or major outrage over K-3 teachers discussing gender in a way that does not follow both pedantic standards and state law.
    2) Several First Amendment scholars have spoken out against this bill, precisely because of its imprecise language, pointing out that there is no protection against LGBT ppl from suing teachers and school districts from because they use “Dick and Jane” books, which have ONLY a “straight” mom and pop and DON’T discuss the legitimacy of LGBT couples.
    3) I PEARSONALLY (the name of my blog) consider this to be a continuation of the Fuckublican attack not only the LGBT community — coalescing fear for political purposes — but of Public Education in general.
    4) You point out the Nazi repression and hatred of LGBTQ ppl in 1930s-40s Europe (along with Jewish ppl, jazz musicians, blacks and Gypsies), yet this also coincides with Putin’s Russia, as he claimed Russia is a Christian Nation. Orban in Hungary (once a democracy with an high rating in the Press Freedom Index and the Freedom House rankings) has been using similar targeting of minor groups to obtain and maintain political power; turning it closer to a nationally fascist autocracy.

Please keep up the good work.

    Your pal,

    Paul P-Dog Pearson

I learned about sex before first grade. My Neo-Nazi father praised Hitler for ridding Germany of “queers” and when he was drafted, he told the army board he wanted to go to Germany to fight for Hitler. He was sent to Alaska. My grandfather, a German-Lutheran pastor flew the Nazi flag. Where we lived (Waterloo, Iowa) was one of the most racist hate-filled towns that separated the “white people” (East Waterloo) from the “niggers” (West Waterloo), and when a black family moved into a house in East Waterloo, “white flight” to Dyke, Iowa began. There was zero tolerance for anything challenging white-homophobia and many LGBTQ youth committed suicide (the stellar book “1619” hints at this in Waterloo, Iowa in the introduction. There should have been objective teaching and conversations about the plethora of human reality, but in thew white christian community that was anathema and so the suicides, murders, rapes, etc. continued with the stranglehold of the Republican Party growing stronger–and Iowa put into the US Senate Chuck Grassley the biggest bigot of all with Nazi flags flying from middle class homes. To ensure my salvation, Francis Brunskill paid to date females…that I had no interest in doing any more than dating females. That was the beginning of my worry about a god–a myth I later rejected when my uncles sodomized me “in the name of Jesus.”

Right out of uncle Adolf’s play book. Create a problem that doesn’t exist to divide and conquer. This is all political orientated in that it gives those of lessor IQ’s a way to reach out to idiots without having to explain themselves.

    • Arthur Frederick Ide  says:

Tragically, Trump and his trumpettes have taken over the Republican Party that is heavy with Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, American Nazis, KKK, and other antidemocracy groups led by Virginia Thomas and Franklin Graham who want to abolish the Constitution and turn the nation in to an authoritarian regime like Hitler’s Germany, Stalin’s Soviet Union, Un’s Korea etc. where the vote is silenced and demagogues like in Belarus where the “president” is elected with fake votes to stay in power until the people rise up and say “enough”. What surprises me is 40% of the people in this nation want the same thing, with many seeing Trump as an unending dynasty. prophesied by QAnon. The quickest way to do that is to marginalize a minority, ban books, and stifle real education: that fascist states of Florida, Iowa, Georgia, and Texas lead the way into the dark pit of ignorance.
