Father Marcel Guarnizo, a Vicar at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland (who was suspended by the Washington, DC archdiocese), is neither an American citizen, nor even based in the USA.  Hate-filled, Marcel is a fervent anti-choice / pro-violence hate of women (even though his local newspapers carry articles of his attempt to seduce underage females) and is actually based in Moscow, Russia (he was ordained to the priesthood for the Apostolic Administration of European Russia by Archbishop Tadeusz  Kondrusiewicz (born in 1946 at Odelsk, Belarus, then part of the Soviet Union, and a confirmed capitalist on the order of the Koch Brothers and others who would have people work for minimal wages), whose plan is to restore the corrupt church that fell with the Czars who had a continuing bloody pogrom against the Jews of Russia.  His primary goal is to rebuild churches even though the poor need adequate housing). It is the corruption within the Russian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church in Russia that led the poor people to join the Revolution of 1914–and now Marcel is attempting to bring back the enslavement of the people of Russia through his nefarious lectures on democracy for the few and capitalism for the elite, whom Marcel defines as “the chosen of the Christ”.

Marcel has personally attacked one woman’s health clinic attempting to justify his invasion and assault on women patients as his god’s demand to close down what he saw as a “veritable death camp.”  Maryland’s bishop Knestout refers to  Marcel’s unpriestly ” … intimidating behavior toward parish staff and others … ” and … ” … the grave nature of these allegations … ”  He noted that Marcel had little interest in the suffering of those around him but lived in the metaphysical world in which he concentrated his studies in theology.

An extremist more in keeping with Torquemada than any contemporary cleric claims that if two people who are married and both are Roman Catholic (or, on occasion he has claimed that if one was a Roman Catholic) and they divorced without obtaining a Roman Catholic sanctioned annulment, the pair would be in mortal sin, would go to hell, and that all priests must deny them communion or even penance and forgiveness.  Marcel’s menacing manuevers originally brought him notoriety because he refused communion to a lesbian who was burying her mother; later, in a written statement, this mindless minister of perdition detailed: “If a Quaker, a Lutheran or a Buddhist, desiring communion had introduced himself as such, before Mass, a priest would be obligated to withhold communion. If someone had shown up in my sacristy drunk, or high on drugs, no communion would have been possible either. If a Catholic, divorced and remarried (without an annulment) would make that known in my sacristy, they too according to Catholic doctrine, would be impeded from receiving communion. This has nothing to do with Canon 915. Ms. Johnson’s circumstances are precisely one of those relations which impede her access to communion according to Catholic teaching. Ms. [Barbara] Johnson was a guest [sic] in our parish, not the arbiter of how sacraments are dispensed in the Catholic Church.”  The Washington, DC archdiocese disagrees and now refuses to let this miscreant misuse any of its facilities.  The government of the USA should deport this menace to his homeland in Russia–where he has for a longtime stirred up trouble between people, verbally and physically assaulted women, and works for the embellishment of religion at an unbearable cost to the poor.

Marcel has spoken internationally, recently in Slovakia, proclaiming that Jesus was a capitalist and only the rich are really saved, for through their wealth they merit heaven.  This is a return to the Dark Ages when the Roman Catholic Church held councils in various monasteries to debate such pressing issues as to whether or not Jesus carried a purse (an object to contain coins) or if he truly meant that the poor and the meek would inherit heaven. As with the bishops of the Middle Ages, Marcel has sided with the former (and matches the bishops and cardinals so perfectly captured in Umberto Ecco’s Name of the Rose), claiming that Jesus wants rich people in heaven (cp. Mark 10:17-25), and that there is no expense too great for the world’s population to carry if it leads to the building of great cathedrals, homes for priests and nuns and similar nonsense that was the substance of the life of the Albanian nun who today is known as Mother Theresa of Calcutta.  Like the Albanian sycophant who delights in the suffering of the poor, stricken with disease, and hungry in India, Marcel does not believe in freedom of religion or freedom of speech or assembly, but expects the world to conform to his narrow interpretation.  Like Theresa of Calcutta, Marcel will see first to the physical needs of the clergy before the basic needs of the people.

John Avanzini ("Jesus was a millionaire")

John Avanzini (born in Paramaribo, Suriname, South America on May 21, 1936; his education is from Baptist University in Shreveport, LA, and has no stellar credentials) attacks and mocks theologians for teaching that Jesus was poor. “I don’t know where these goofy traditions creep in at, but one of the goofiest ones is that Jesus and His disciples were poor. Now there’s no Bible to substantiate that” and made a video to that effect.  Yet the New Testament states that Jesus sent the disciples out without money ( Matthew 10:9-12; Luke 22:35-36).  Avanzini is even more calloused in his misreading of the New Testament, almost as if her were a disciple of Marcel Guarnizo, as when this predatory pastor preached “Jesus had a nice house, a big house big enough to have company stay the night with Him at the house. Let me show YOU His house. G0 over to John the first chapter and I’ll show you His house. Now, child of God, that’s a house big enough to have company stay the night in. There’s His house.” (Believers voice of Victory program, TBN Jan.20,1991; cp. Matthew 8:19-20)

Marcel is a foreign agent for two nations: Russia and the Vatican.  As such he should be expelled from the USA for his attacks on the dignity of people such as Barbara Johnson, his denial of human dignity (claiming that there was too much traffic on the road in front of the ceremony for him to make it back to his quarters “on time”), and his war against full democracy that is the cornerstone of the current USA.  Marcel, like John Avanzini, is a threat to democracy and the USA and there is no room for people who would deny human rights and civil dignity to others within this nation. Marcel has never registered with FARA and the US Government as required by law.

Both Marcel and Avanzini thrive on the ignorance of the masses.  They equally feed off of the few dollars that the poor have for food.

While Marcel is attempting to restore the corrupt church of the fifteenth century, Avanzini: builds a personal empire for his son to take over and mulch the masses.  It is identical to the way Franklin Graham turned his father’s tent revivalism into a money-making religious scam and Ponzi scheme that is tax-free in the USA.  Religion and salvation are for sale, and the only ones who become enriched are the pastors who lead a blind flock over the perfidious precipice of prayer to their doom.

Thank you for this well researched (as all your work has been that I have encountered) report on another fanatic afflicted with the disease of hatred justified by religion. Only by exposing the emotional needs behind such hatred will the religiously oppressed be freed.

I am trying to locate a copy of your book “Battered and Bruised” for purchase but have been unable to find a copy. Can you direct me to one? Thanks.

I appreciate your depth of research. Only by exposing the use of religion to mask hatred can those oppressed in the name of God be freed.

I am trying to locate a copy of your book Battered and Bruised to purchase. Can you direct me to a source? Thanks.

I will try to find you a copy, and see if it can be mailed. If you send me your address (iowart@yahoo.com), I will pass it on, along with the price. I do not know how whomever/whatever seller accept (check, etc) but I will make inquiries about that, too.
