Tucker Carlson, Fox News, and Genocide in America: Rupert Murdoch’s Legacy

White supremacist and white privileged monster Tucker Carlson1 with coconspirators Sean Hannity and Laura Ingram have implied everything from the COVID vaccine does not work to the vaccine is killing people while YouTube and Facebook does nothing to remove their false information in quest of greater revenues.2 The liars have said, falsely, that a person would have to be vaccinated to (1) get a job, (2) travel, (3) to live anywhere.

White supremacists are now in control of the Republican party.

Sixteen members of a Florida-based white supremacist group – who went by names such as Shrek, Pretty Boy and Scumbag – have been charged in a 12-count racketeering indictment accusing them of engaging in acts of murder, kidnapping and other offenses. The members of the group called the Unforgiven used “corrupt law enforcement officers and state employees” to gather information about the investigation and to smuggle contraband to incarcerated inmates, the indictment says. Fox News did not mention, as it turns a blind eye to domestic terrorist such as those who stormed the Capitol of January 6, chanting to  hang Mike Pence, and following Republicanazi Marjorie Taylor Green into the building showing them the way to Nancy Pelosi’s office and the offices of others she considers to be a threat to her interpretation of the Constitution. Several members – including George “Shrek” Andrews, Brandon “Scumbag” Welch and Joshua “Chain Gang” Wilson – are facing up to 30 years in prison if convicted.3 Anthony Aguero, a close ally of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene can be seen in videos and photos with Republican members of Congress who traveled to a route along the border frequented by young migrant children4  on Tuesday night. CNN’s KFile previously reported that Aguero went into the Capitol during the January 6 riot and cheered and justified the break-in.5 During his livestream of the Tuesday visit, Aguero interviewed and chatted with Reps. Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin,6 Lauren Boebert of Colorado,7 Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina,8 Chris Jacobs of New York,9 Michael Cloud of Texas,9 John Rose of Tennessee,[1/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yx70NaU9mJo&t=6649s.] Ronny Jackson of Texas,11 and Mary Miller of Illinois.12 all of who have stated that they are above the law and were, in fact, the law. Aguero unlawfully entered the US Capitol on January 6, after chanting “heave-ho” on the Capitol steps and calling on the traitors to push the police back.  In a livestream one day after the Capitol riot, he attacked those who condemned the ransacking of the Capitol. Aguero said he was doing it all for Trump.13

Rupert Murdoch gets COVID vaccine as Tucker Carlson doubts it works.

Rupert Murdock’s racist and hate-filled network is the leading voice in the the nation that Donald Trump created: the Divided States of AmeriKKKa against the COVID-19 vaccination. Carlson cloaks his deadly advice by claiming that he is just “asking questions”14–yet his rabid following takes them as fact and die from ignorance. Rick Wilson, a Republican and co-founder of the Lincoln Project, reject Carlson’s false claim that their was “no science” involved in determining the reality of COVID or supporting the vaccine. Wilson said: “”The science is clear: Not only are vaccines safe and effective, they pose significantly less risk to your health than contracting COVID-19,” Wilson said. “Fox News has blood on its hands.”15 Murdoch received the coronavirus vaccine at age 89 in Oxford, UK, as Tucker Carlson questioned its efficacy. He was among the first in the world to be inoculated, receiving the Pfizer/BioNTech injection near his home in South Oxfordshire. Murdoch released a statement after he was vaccinated: “He has been isolating in the UK since the summer, with his wife Jerry Hall Murdoch,” said the statement issued by News UK. “He would like to thank the key workers and the NHS staff who have worked so hard throughout the pandemic, and the amazing scientists who have made this vaccine possible.”16

Crush protests, open bars, go to the beach, Phase 3 of Gov DeSantis “gets trumpy”

Donald J. Trump Sr, the twice-impeached, twice-loser-of-the-popular-vote, and one-term former president, Governor Rick DeSantis (R-Florida) and all other Republicanazi governors, consider Fox to be the word from the mouth of god instructing them to degrade, disenfranchise, and demean people of color, women, LGBTQ people, and all Democrats. DeSantis wants to make it illegal to protect children  from COVID by putting  a mask-mandate to protect them,17 as did the Republican governors of Missouri (Mike Parson, who now has COVID with his wife)18  and Tennessee (Bill Lee).19 They are joined by the fraudulent “America’ Frontline Doctors”: a disreputable gaggle of goon who claimed without facts that the coronavirus is not a public health emergency.

Simone Gold was a hero to the antivaxxers and local doctors

The America’s Frontline Doctors was established by a Beverly Hills, California, doctor, Simone Gold, 55, who is facing charges for helping to invade the US Capitol of January 6. She obtained infamy when he pushed the use of hydroxchloroquine (a drug used to treat malaria and a few autoimmune diseases. Gold made a similar speech during the Jan. 6 insurrection, confirming to The Washington Post20 she was photographed holding a megaphone on the Rotunda floor (In June, the FDA revoked its emergency authorization21 of hydroxychloroquine, stating the drug could actually do more harm than good because of its “ongoing serious cardiac adverse events and other potentially serious side effects.”) while the pandemic surged.22

Trump said he takes Hydroxychloroquine despite FDA warnings that it can cause death.

The FDA withdrew its emergency use authorization for the use of hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine, drugs that Trump had repeatedly promoted for treatment of covid-19. Federal health officials, citing scientific evidence, said that the drug is “unlikely to be effective” for covid-19 and that any potential benefits are outweighed by safety risks, including heart problems.23

North and South Dakotas COVID surging as governors say pandemic is not real.

Now a North Dakota law24  that prohibits a mask mandate, even during an outbreak of tuberculosis, and a new Montana law25 that prohibits the use of quarantine to separate people who have probably been infected or exposed but are not yet sick. These laws are the creation of the fascist American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) that is struggling to bring a dictatorship to the country. Many bills are modeled on legislation originally crafted by conservative think tanks and activist groups, according to state lawmakers who introduced them.

Governor Kay Ivey (R-AL) gets vaccinated.

There is some sliver of hope. The pro-vaccine message is even reaching the heart of Trump country. “Folks [are] supposed to have common sense,” Alabama Republican Gov. Kay Ivey said on Thursday.26 “But it’s time to start blaming the unvaccinated folks, not the regular folks. It’s the unvaccinated folks that are letting us down.” You might say the scolding was overdue: Ivey leads the country’s least vaccinated state. But her moment of truth was met with outrage by Alabama’s Trump supporters and antivaxxers.27 Alabama also has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country, with only 34% of the population being fully vaccinated, according to the New York Times COVID-19 tracker.28 New COVID infections tripled in from July 7 to July 21, 2021.29

Marjorie Taylor Green, Ron Johnson, Rand Paul reject the existence of COVID

Unfortunately,  Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) where a child, 5-year-old Wyatt Gary Gibson30 of Calhoun. died of COVID in her district and she made fun of the death;31 Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin), and Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) continue to reinforce right-wing vaccine skepticism.32

Antivaxxer Stephen Harmon, a fervent supporter of Donald Trump, died from COVID-19.

Antivaxxers and those against wearing masks, like Stephen Harmon, died a painful death from COVID-19 as it took over his lungs and squashed them.

Few people write with the precision you pen your perfect prose, Sami. Hopefully, you and Jim have had your shots (it does not hurt0. Only recently are we told that Trump and his family had their vaccination–jumping ahead of others–so in character with the Grifter-in-Chief and Melania. I expect that the Republicans will try to claim they were the ones pushing for full-vaccination and denying they were the gaggle telling people COVID was a joke. Every day I read about another Republican legislator who had been denying the severity of COVID is hospitalized, intubated and dying from their ignorance. I shed no tears for them, but feel sorry for their children (or grandchildren) who they infected.

I’m confused as to why Rupert Murdoch, a foreigner, is permitted to own such an extensive network of media in the USA. It
seems counterintuitive to national security. I understand that the only reason his “news” channels/programs continue is because they’ve been registered as “entertainment” programs; and of course, entertainment programs aren’t reporting facts; they’re entertaining audiences, & are not required to be truthful in doing so.

Really, it sounds a bit crazy that it should be legal for foreign interests to own/control the US media. It allows said foreign interests almost unlimited access for distributing their own propaganda & blatantly anti-American sentiments, disguised as “entertainment” programming.

How & when did this nightmare happen? Was the entire country asleep? How can we wake everyone up again, before the U.S. sleepwalks into an authoritarian regime? Trump has openly & repeatedly said that he aspires to such, and this opinion has been echoed by others in his bubble.

This sickens me, but I’m not sure exactly what to do first. I always value your insight on our changing situations – especially the bizarre ones.

    • Arthur Frederick Ide  says:

Keith Rupert Murdoch AC KCSG is an Australian-born American billionaire businessman, media tycoon, and investor. Through his company News Corp, he is the owner of hundreds of local, national, and international publishing outlets around the world, including in the UK (The Sun and The Times), in Australia (The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun and The Australian), in the US (The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post), book publisher HarperCollins, and the television broadcasting channels Sky News Australia and Fox News (through the Fox Corporation). He was also the owner of Sky (until 2018), 21st Century Fox (until 2019), and the now-defunct News of the World. Many of Murdoch’s papers and television channels have been accused of biased and misleading coverage to support his business interests and political allies, and some have credited his influence with major political developments in the UK, U.S., and Australia. Murdoch made his first acquisition in the United States in 1973, when he purchased the San Antonio Express-News. In 1974, Murdoch moved to New York City, to expand into the U.S. market; however, he retained interests in Australia and Britain. Soon afterwards, he founded Star, a supermarket tabloid, and in 1976, he purchased the New York Post. On 4 September 1985, Murdoch became a naturalized citizen to satisfy the legal requirement that only US citizens were permitted to own US television stations. He remains a US citizen, and until recently a supporter of Trump, but he is slowly backing away from Trump. Today he lives in Oxfordshire, UK but as a American citizen. Fox News is now owned by Disney. He still owns Sky Italia so he control the news there as well as in various other nations when he purchased a 35% stake in the South China Morning Post group for about US$105 million.

In 1956, Murdoch married Patricia Booker, a former shop assistant and flight attendant from Melbourne; the couple had their only child, Prudence, in 1958. In 1967, Murdoch married Anna Mann (née Torv),[165] a Scottish-born cadet journalist working for his Sydney newspaper The Daily Telegraph. In January 1998, 3 months before the announcement of his separation from Anna, a Roman Catholic: they had three children. On 25 June 1999, 17 days after divorcing his second wife, Murdoch, then aged 68, married Chinese-born Wendi Deng who was 30, Murdoch was 68. Murdoch divorced Deng believing her to have had an affair with Tony Blair, the British Prime Minister. Murdoch had two daughters with Deng. On January 11, 2016, Murdoch announced his engagement to former model Jerry Hall. Murdoch now is 90 years old. He owns an 11 bedroom house on a 5-acre waterfront estate in Centre Island, NY, and an 18th century house and estate in the English village of Binfield Heath–where he continues to live, quarantined for fear of COVID. He was born March 11, 1931 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
