Ignorance and stupidity are the two prime forces moving the increase in COVID cases especially escalating with the unchained Delta variant. Not only politicians, but also public officials are the prime movers of the pandemic as it is putting more people in ICU and other hospital beds and in coffins. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva,¹ an supporter of nepotism and hired his own son, is among the worse refusing to enforce the County’s mask mandate² who admits he does not understand the severity of the pandemic.³

Although Los Angeles County Health Department passed a strong mask mandate, Villanueva sees himself above the law, and refuses to let his deputies enforce the mask mandate–as Villanueva wrongly argues “there is no science to back it up” and it “sends the wrong message”.⁴ In the week before July 19, 2021, Los Angeles County hit 10,000 coronavirus cases.] A Los Angeles Times data analysis found L.A. County was recording 101 weekly coronavirus cases for every 100,000 residents, up from 12 for the seven-day period that ended June 15, pushing the county into the worst tier according to the CDC.⁵

Trump, homeless ness plunged under Obama.⁶ Homelessness skyrocketed under Trump.⁷ On a single night in January 2016, more than half a million people across the U.S. were homeless. That number is large (549,928 people) but it has declined substantially since 2010, when the Obama administration introduced Opening Doors, the nation’s first strategic federal plan to solve homelessness. Homeless families, individuals, and veterans dropped drastically under Obama-Biden Perhaps the reason why Donald Trump is throwing a tantrum about homelessness in parts of the country that don’t vote for him is that this is another area in which he isn’t able to measure up to Barack Obama.

According to the 2016 Annual Homeless Assessment Report – released just before Obama left office – nationwide homelessness fell across the board.⁸ The plan appeared to be working. After Trump took office, homeless veterans numbers soaring and families with small children found themselves living on the streets. In the Bay Area, homeless shelters coronavirus cases jumped 90% from last week (July 13, 2021).⁹ In some counties, unhoused people are getting vaccinated at close to half the rate of the general population. Other counties aren’t even tracking vaccination rates in homeless communities, making it all but impossible to gauge their success and target areas for improvement. During the week of July 5, Alameda County reported 20 new COVID infections among its unhoused residents — the most the county has seen in one week since early February. San Francisco estimates it has fully vaccinated 38% of its homeless residents, compared to 76% of its general population 12 and older. In Contra Costa County, an estimated 33% of unhoused residents are fully vaccinated, compared to 74% of the general public 12 and older.

COVID-19 cases are increasing in every state–with the highest rate of new cases in Red States: Iowa,¹⁰ Texas,¹¹ Florida,¹² Alabama,¹³ Mississippi,¹⁴  Arkansas,¹⁵ South Dakota,¹⁶ etc.–where their governors prematurely opened the state for profit and either banned or said vaccines were ineffective and masks not essential.¹⁷  U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy expressed dismay over the current surge in Covid-19 cases—more than half of which are now linked to the highly transmissible Delta variant¹⁸—throughout the country, especially in areas with low inoculation rates. Murthy urged people to get vaccinated swiftly.¹⁹ According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the average number of new reported cases (26,306 per day) has grown by 69.3% since last week, while the average number of hospitalizations (2,794 per day) and deaths (211 per day) have grown by 35.8% and 26.3%, respectively, during the same time period of the second week in July 2021.²⁰ The rapidly spreading Delta variant is hitting states and counties with low vaccination rates particularly hard.²¹

The real tragedy for the pandemic and its meteoric rise was Donald John Trump, the twice-impeached, two-time-popular-vote loser and Liar-in-chief who knew about the pandemic’s might in the early days but did nothing to stop it–believing it would decimate the blue states assuring him of reelection.²² Dr. Deborah Birx, who specializes in HIV/AIDS immunology and without training in epidemiology, served as the US global AIDS coordinator for President Obama, was appointed by Trum to be a part of the White House Coronavirus Task Force from February 2020 to January 2021.²³ Dr.

Birx said the initial wave of deaths caused by covid-19²⁴ in the US were mostly unpreventable, but the majority of deaths following the first 100,000 “could have been mitigated or decreased substantially.”

“I look at it this way: The first time, we have an excuse. There were about 100,000 deaths that came from that original surge,” Birx said in a CNN documentary. “All of the rest of them, in my mind, could have been mitigated or decreased substantially.”²⁵ Birx’s silence makes her an accessory to Trump’s genocide, sufficient cause to cost her the medical license and degree she has tarnished.²⁶ Trump had risked the health of the nation for a profit, as he pushed drugs that took some lives of the people who trusted him on the pandemic and used hydroxychloroquine–that was never a proven drug for anything but malaria. It must not be forgotten or forgiven that Birx was a Trump enabler.

Towards the end of March 2020, the doctor heaped undeserving praise on the former president, going so far as to tout his comprehension of scientific literature.²⁷ At the time, Fox News²⁸ and the former president was pushing unproven coronavirus treatments, like hydroxychloroquine. President Trump—increasingly a booster of hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment for coronavirus—has a “small personal financial interest”²⁹ in Sanofi, a French drugmaker that produces a brand-name version of the drug.³⁰ Trump was backed-up by the biggest bloviator, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who was recently suspended from YouTube for a week for posting a video touting hydroxychloroquine and another drug that’s unproven for fighting covid-19,³¹ ivermectin, as treatments, told Bartiromo, “The truth has been hiding in plain sight since the beginning of the pandemic.” Trump continues to push hydroxchloroquine to this day–even though it did not safe Trump who almost died on the inflight to Walter Reed Hospital.³² even after showing total disrespect for the military.  Trump has even less respect for the medical profession. Once he was released from Walter Reed Military Hospital, having been told to go slow and stay calm, Trump did the opposite.

Dr. Michael Mina, an infectious disease specialist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health,³³ wrote in an email. “We know he fails to use a mask and continues to act irresponsibly in that manner,” Mina wrote. “They should be working as diligently as possible to ensure that the president does not pose a clear and present danger to any other people.”

Against all medical advice, Birx’s fraudulent statement was nothing more than a smokescreen for Trump’s lack of a solid education, especially in science, as his only reason he graduated from any school was because of his father’s  money and clout.³⁴

Wharton School of Finance and Commerce does not list Trump with any honors or even attendance.

Trump lied about graduating “First In His Class.”³⁵ Trump did not go to Wharton’s prestigious MBA program–he received his undergraduate degree without honors offered by Wharton College at the University of Pennsylvania; he gained admission as a transfer student only because of “an interview with a friendly Wharton admissions officer who was one of Freddy’s old high school classmates.” (Freddy is Donald’s older brother, deceased.) Trump was also the son of one of the wealthiest New York businessmen of the era, the developer Fred Trump.³⁶ Some schools base honors on GPA percentile, but Wharton bases them simply on GPA, which means that in order to graduate without honors, his GPA had to have been less than a 3.40—or else that he was sanctioned for academic integrity or student conduct violations.

Trump’s lie that the virus came out of a Chinese lab has been rejected even by the World Health Organization.³⁷ He attempted to spread the lie that WHO covered up information on COVID, calling on Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to agree with him.³⁸ However, Richard Horton, editor Lancet medical journal reject Trump’s lie Wuhan spread the disease on May 19, 2020.³⁹ He actively wanted to send infected Americans to Guantanamo Bay to infect people there as one way of silencing people who said the prison is synonymous with human rights abuses.⁴⁰ Trump pushed hydroxychloroquine,⁴¹ an antimalaria drug that he heavily invested in, as a COVID cure although it has never been tested or approved by the CDC and denounced by Dr. Fauci.⁴²  Today, the Trump lie is being bellowed by Trump-kissing Republicanazis governors: Abbott (TX), DeSantis (FL), Kemp (GA), Noem (SD), and and the worst of all Kim Reynolds (IA) and other Republican dominated states.⁴³ Living in a nightmare of delusions, Trump has convinced himself that he will regain the White House by the summer of 2021⁴⁴–or by August, at the latest, and will be adored by all Americans.⁴⁵
